Trinity Sports is currently looking for volunteers to serve as coaches during our basketball season. Coaches must be Christians who are excited about teaching kids character-building traits like like teamwork, friendship, and healthy competition, while also discipling families.

5 REASONS TO COACH THIS SEASON

1. Get Involved with Your Child
Coaching is a great way to be an active part of something your child enjoys instead of a passive participant.

2. Develop the Next Generation
Coaching gives you the opportunity to develop young players in character and athletic skills.

3. Be a Role Model for Other Parents
Coaching allows you to set the tone for how parents should act at practice, in the stands, and in life.

4. Minister to Families
Coaching gives you the chance to share weekly devotionals with your team and their parents and discuss the Gospel with them. You’ll receive a Coach’s Guide with devotionals to share weekly with your team.

5. Love Kids and Disciple Families
Coaching allows you to love kids and their parents, walk beside them in life, and build relationships that last beyond the season. You’ll get to mentor families and teach them to do their best for the glory of Christ.

NO PRIOR COACHING EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Don’t let your fear of never coaching in the past stop you from coaching this year. Your Coach’s Book will include sample drills and practice ideas and weekly devotionals to share with students. If you’re struggling with ideas, our Trinity Sports Director can also help you. Plus, coach’s can also recruit an assistant coach from parents who didn’t sign-up to assist them during the season. (Assistant Coaches must also have a background check completed).
