Media Team Ministry

You may not even be aware they’re there, but every Sunday morning a team of volunteers works together to ensure there is video footage, graphics, and lyrics on the screens in the Worship Center. They also ensure there’s good audio quality and a livestream available for our homebound.

In order to make it all happen, the team needs six volunteers every Sunday. On Wednesday nights, the team needs two volunteers to ensure our Trinity Students Worship Service has sounds, graphics, and lyrics, too.

It’s easy to volunteer and only requires a minimum commitment of one Sunday per month.

We have a wide array of service opportunities and provide training to help volunteers develop and refine their skills. Students in 6th grade or older are encouraged to get involved, as are all ages of adults. No prior experience is needed to join the team.

Some of the ways you can serve in the Media Ministry include:

• Audio Engineer:
  Mixes the sound for the worship services at a highly skilled level so everything is clearly heard and free from distractions like distorted signals and feedback.
• Video Director:
  Oversees all aspects of the video broadcast while ensuring quality for the livestream. Directs our camera operators and mixes the live video cut.
• Camera Operator:
  Operates cameras under the direction of the Video Director, working together with the team to provide an engaging view of the service.
• Lighting Technician:
  Operates the lighting console for the stage and the house lights. Critical to keeping the service flowing with the lighting cues as we transition between service elements.
• Graphics Technician:
  Operates Pro-Presenter for the lyric slides projection for congregational singing and the images shown to enhance the messages and announcements being shared.
• Photographer:
  Takes photos during the Worship Service and at Wednesday night events to be used on social media, our website, and in various marketing pieces.
