3 Ways Jesus Changes Everything

Pastor: Andy Coats
Sermon: 3 Ways Jesus Changes Everything
Reference: Acts 4:12

Key Takeaways:

1. Do you know Jesus?
2. Have you been transformed by the truth?
3. Are you experiencing abundant life?

If you answered yes to number 1, but you are struggling to answer yes to number 2 or number 3, rethink your answer to number 1.

In his sermon today at Trinity Baptist Church, “God’s Only Begotten Son”, pastor Andy Coats talked about how when we understand the purpose of truths, it changes everything.

The biggest truth that transformed everything is that God changed everything when he sent Jesus to save us.

3 WAYS JESUS CHANGES EVERYTHING:

1. Jesus is the Only Way to the Father
He is not an option. In a culture of inclusion that is void of Biblical truths, it is important to know Christianity is an exclusive group. We have to follow Jesus. Acts 4:12 says, “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other under Heaven given among men by which we most me saved.”

2. Jesus is the Truth
People make claims about things today that we don’t know the truth behind. We pay people to be “fact checkers”. But Jesus is the only truth. He is the compass to which we can measure everything by. Without a compass, we believe lies or makeup our own truths. The enemy loves to make us buy into the lies of the world.

As long as we are self-centric, we will live a life void of God’s plan and purpose for our life. It is easy to justify our sins and say, “That sin is not that big of a deal.”

The reality is despite deserving death, Jesus loves us. Death because of sin does not have to be the end of the story. The enemy wants you to think you’re worthless. The truth in Jesus is that through Him, we have eternal life.

3. Jesus is Life
Jesus came so we could have abundant life on earth and eternal life in Heaven. There is nothing that satisfies like the life you have through Jesus. When the pressures of the world want us to dive into sin, Jesus is there. Jesus is enough.

The three things cannot be separated. Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.
